Call me Capt’ Obvious but allergies do really suck. And sadly, I believe we have pretty much done this crap to ourselves. Chemical this and chemical that in everything.
If you read much that was written (non-fiction) way back before or even during the beginning of the industrial revolution, people just didn’t talk about allergies much.
Why? they probably didn’t have them.
Why? They ate local food and used natural sweeteners, like, oh- local honey.
And studies show that local honey, if you actually eat the honey that is from your local area- over time you will see a decrease in seasonal allergies.
We over clean. No comments here from my clean freak brother with a touch of OCD, who can’t get things clean enough – ever. (I sometimes deliberately don’t clean stuff so he will get all freaked out when he comes over!)
Not, really true, I just don’t have the time and there are too many dogs, cats and boys running amok to really keep this place spotless. If I do clean the place, in 10 minutes you can’t tell anyway.
By the way, I am allergic to anything with fur or feathers, probably scales, most likely rocks as well, but you don’t see me kicking them outside. And even though I did grow up on a small farm, critters were not allowed in the house. My house if a freaky zoo.
But, with our food and the stuff I clean with I do try to avoid chemicals, especially with what we eat. Which explains all the gardening and canning going on here.
Chemical Shit storms are just not my idea of fun. Saying chemical shit storm is.
I have wanted to use that phrase for a while now but I am fairly certainly none of my clients would go for that.
Speaking of which, I have a slight conflict of interest thingy going on.
One of my clients- who to be really honest is not worth me working for, but I continue to out of misplaces sense of loyalty since he was one of my very first clients back when I started the whole freelance thing, asked me to do a post for a blog- and said it would mean so much if they got the client, please, please.
So, I did. But, the site to me looks like a direct competitor of the other health & wellness site that I write/work for, which I do enjoy. If client A does get the job, then he will expect me to do the posts.
Money is nice, since I am quickly racking up the bills with this menier’s thing and I am fairly certain that I am getting very close to needing some adhesions cleaned out.
Things that make you go hmmm.
More than likely I will tell client A – NO unless I get to keep the byline. In that case it may be worth it, then I might be able to leverage traffic from client A to client B, if that makes any sense at all.,
I do tend to rattle on, when I am avoiding the bigger issue. Had the talk about the Meneir’s disease with Mr. B yesterday morning and he took it surprisingly well. So, he is either being super supportive or he didn’t hear a word I said 😉
But he did say I could get a cane with a gun, I want one with a sword- because they way cooler, and when my littlest brother becomes a ninja I want to be ready~
I should be fairly caught up with work so I can go play guinea pig this morning.
But, will still need to work through the weekend to stay that way. Dr. says the TMJ is from clenching my jaw & to wear a mouthpiece when I sleep. I clench my jaw when I am awake a lot so maybe that is when I should wear it, I hope they have hot pink or neon orange.
That being said, my computer just informed me that I have a few articles to submit before, we head out.
You people have fun.
